Beeswax is a wonderful substance - a natural wax secreted by worker honeybees. Beeswax has been used across the globe since the dawn of civilization. It has been used to make food, cosmetics and medicine. Our all natural beeswax is good for both cosmetic and medicinal applications. It comes packed into small pastilles, ensuring that it will be convenient and easy to use. Our beeswax is a very fragrant, clean, and perfectly filtered product without the debris and muddy color found in typical waxes. Beeswax has considerable water-holding capacity. Adding it to body care products, salves, lotions and cosmetics will improve their appearance and consistency. You can also use them to make your own aromatic candles. As they fill your rooms with a pure, pleasant scent, they will emit negative ions that will help reduce unpleasant odors, dust, pollen and other allergen. Beeswax candles emit virtually no smoke, and they burn hotter and brighter than most other candles. Beeswax is suitable for food and cosmetic uses.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I just got finished making 4 tins of Comfrey Salve and it turned out great. I love that the little beeswax dots are so much easier to measure than the blocks I normally buy.Melted very quickly, great consistency, the smell is not overpowering and does not detract from the final product.I'll buy this brand again.UPDATE: Feb, 2013 .... Please note that different shippers will get you different product. I ordered again because I was running low and this time I got something that looked like it came off a cheese grater instead of the perfect little round nibs I got in my first order (my original order looked just like the Amazon product photo).... Even the smell of them is different... not disgusting or anything, but I feel I definitely got a lower quality product this time. The smell of this new batch is quite strong and the bits seems sticky and clumpy.... I'm knocking one star off and changing the title of the review..... Edit: I just uploaded some photos showing the difference in the two products I received... both ordered on this exact same page about 4 months apartConclusion (my opinion only) - I like the Dr Adorable product - five stars.... The Larkin Product - 3.5 stars
I bought this to make furniture wax and it works well for that purpose! I have enough pastilles to make many batches of wax. Here's the recipe from diynatural:
In a double boiler, heat 1/2 cup sweet almond oil and 1/8 cup beeswax pastilles until beeswax is completely melted. (Test hardness by dipping a spoon into the mixture, allow to harden, and see if it's firm enough. You want it firm enough to dip and grab a chunk, but soft enough to give and melt a bit on contact. If it's too hard, add more oil. Too soft, add more wax.) Once desired consistency is achieved, add 10 to 15 drops lemon essential oil and stir well. (You could also use other oils such as lavender, or rose and rosewood.) Pour it into a widemouth glass jar and allow to harden and cool before using. To Use: Rub wax into your furniture. Work it in and buff with a clean dry cloth. The oils will keep the wood hydrated and the beeswax will prevent more scratches and protect the wood. Lemon essential oil dissolves fingerprints and other dirt. Do not apply more than twice a year, to prevent build-up of wax. if wax does build up, just buff until removed. Using a dusting spray of water and vinegar will also help prevent buildup.
I read the reviews first, to see what others say about this - seeing all these positive reviews made me actually buy it. And, to be honest, this was a very good decision. I was looking for something preferably organic, non bleached, for homemade lip balms. I have never made those before so I was also little clueless when searching for this kind of beeswax online. This stuff is nice: it is PLENTY for the amount that I paid. I am not sure if I ever will use this up. I already made a batch of 10 lip balms, and this will take most likely up to a year to use it up in our household, so I am currently looking for other ideas of what to do with all this wax. But as far as the quality, I have zero complaints. I have already used some of the lip balm with this beeswax, and it works very well. It did mix nicely, after little warming up, and did not cause any issues at all as far as skin irritation. Glad I found this, I kind of feel like I am doing something "organic" for myself and my family.
I paid full price for this beeswax and would buy this again.
1st time use. Made a vapor rub to replace the petroleum based menthol one I use nightly with my CPAP machine to keep my airways clear from my nightly stuffiness and chaffed upper lip and nostrils, cannot tolerate the humidifier, warm air is not breathable. Used 1/2 C Avocado oil, 2 T Beeswax pastilles (barely melted with avocado oil in a double boiler), then added 20 drops of eucalyptus oil (for stuffiness), 10 drops peppermint oil, 10 drops lavender oil (to aid sleep) made around 4 oz, put into a small jar and old small altoids tin.
Edit 12/8/19: I've recently become aware that using oils in or near the nostrils may be dangerous to your health, I like the protection for chaffing so next batch I'll make without eucalyptus, peppermint and lavender essential oils, I am glad I quit using the mentholatum and never tried the vicks.
The bag was split about an inch in the bottom. It was shipped with several other items. Some of the product had fallen out upon arrival. I was able to recover most of it and transferred it to a zip lock baggy. I think it was due to the USPS just dropping the box on my porch. I'm sure it would have been noticed, if it had been that way upon packaging. Maybe, just a little bubble wrap around it when shipping for the new mail man that doesn't seem to like getting out of his vehicle and just splats my packages on the concrete porch. Other than that, the product is clean and perfect for my soap making and lip balm. No problems and a good price.

One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I've been using this to make hand and face cream. I use 1 c. coconut oil and a little more than 1/2 c. of these bees wax pastilles. I'm still experimenting with the right ratio of bees wax to coconut oil. Too little bees wax and you get a cream that goes on smoothly but tends to run around your eyes. Too much bees wax and you get a cream that is too hard to put on. It's been a brutal cold winter this year in the northeast and I was so glad to know my face was protected - no chapped lips, cheeks or nose. It's so nice to know I have an all natural product to use. I've been using this for a while now. The 16 oz. bag lasts a long time so its a very economical way to have hand cream as well. Smells like coconut and honey on your face - wonderful.
